Clearwater Housing Authority (CHA) is implementing precautionary measures to promote a healthy work environment and do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Effective Monday, March 30, 2020 our central offices are closed to the public. During this time, all regular appointments and processes will be conducted via U.S. mail. In addition, CHA now has a drop box outside of our front door, located at 28050 U.S. Hwy 19 N, Suite 103, Clearwater FL 33761.

  • Annual re-exams will continue; paperwork will only be accepted via mail or placed in the drop box.
  • Interim re-exams will continue; paperwork will only be accepted via mail or placed in the drop box.
  • Clients can call-in to speak to a specialist or can mail or place documents in the drop-box. Suspension of annual inspections until further notice.
  • Initial inspections will continue for UNOCCUPIED units only.
